Coding specialist Matthews Intelligent Identification has laucnhed the Avery ALX 735 Wipe On Label Printer Applicator (LPA) in Australia.

Product manager Mark Dingley says this top-level LPA system has been designed for highly demanding production lines, offering efficiency, reliability and an improved total cost of ownership with no air required.

“This LPA uses direct wipe-on technology, and has a high output apply speed of up to 50m/min,” he says.
“The ALX 735 will reliably label product 24/7, plus has with low service and maintenance needs.”

Robust technology gives the LPA a long product life.

“The ALX 735’s focus on low total cost of ownership comes via a foil-save function, which reduces consumable costs, and, because it needs less roll exchange, there’s less production downtime.”

The unit’s modularity allows a quick exchange of modules for service and maintenance, again cutting downtime.

Dingley says the ALX 735 LPA, which Matthews will demonstrate at AUSPACK, is also highly efficient.

Large label and foil rolls, a second unwinder module and splice unit (giving it large label capacity) result in high output and maximise production uptime.

It has three print widths (4″, 5″ and 6″), so manufacturers can choose the best solution to fit their particular application.

Standard interfaces and mounting options, plus integration flexibility for all types of networks, means the ALX 735 fits in any environment
