Logistics giant announces domestic and international shipping deadlines for holiday season

FedEx has unveiled its shipping deadlines for Australian domestic and international shipping services ahead of the Christmas period

International logistics business FedEx has unveiled its domestic and international shipping deadlines ahead of the 2025 holiday season.

For sending shipments within Australia, FedEx Economy and Road Express services have a deadline for December 17 in remote, Western Australian and Northern Territory destinations to ensure delivery by Christmas Day.

For interstate standard Economy and Road Express services, the deadline is December 19.

For FedEx Priority Express (9am Express, 10am Express, 12pm Express and overnight express services included) services within Australian major cities, the cut-off is December 22.

The final deadline to collect shipments from a local FedEx facility is Tuesday December 23, 2025.

When it comes to sending shipments to New Zealand from Australia, economy services including international economy and international economy freight have a deadline of December 18, while priority services cut-off at December 22.

For sending all other international shipments from Australia, economy services close at December 15 for a Christmas Day delivery, while priority services have a deadline of December 19.
