Lock in a time to talk truck technology and safety

Fleet managers and operators heading north to Brisbane Truck Show may be keen to lock in some time to catch up with the teams from Austroads and Transport Certification Australia while they’re there.

These two independent bodies play a big part when it comes to researching and delivering on the safety elements of roads and vehicles in the transport industry, and will have their latest initiatives on show at booth 229.

They will also be hosting two interactive sessions where people will be able to ask questions and meet the experts. No registration is required.

Anyone keen to check the sessions out should lock in Thursday, May 15 from 2pm – 3pm or Friday, May 16, from Noon to 1pm at Plaza Level, Room 3 for Vehicle Generated Safety or Saturday, May 17 from 1pm -3.10pm in the same room for a session entitled On the Road to Driver Wellbeing.

Vehicle Generated Data for Safety with the National Transport Commission:
A series of interactive sessions designed for manufacturers, operators, tech providers and road managers. Explore how vehicle-generated data is driving safer outcomes on our roads. Hear what’s working, what’s holding us back, and what’s possible when the right people are connected with the right insights.

On the Road to Driver Wellbeing with Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds:
A series of short, expert-led presentations designed for truck drivers, owner-operators, and anyone supporting someone in the heavy vehicle industry. Packed with practical tips to help you stay well on the road, this is a series you won’t want to miss!

Saturday 17 May, 1:00-3:10pm, Plaza Level, Room 3 – no registration required.

The Brisbane Truck Show is shaping up to be one of the biggest on record with more than 30,000sqm of exhibition space booked out and a whole week of events planned around the show itself which is on from May 15 to 18 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
