LIQUI MOLY appoints new Australian east coast area manager

Joel Roos has been named as the east coast area manager of lubricant, additive and car care company LIQUI MOLY, which will come into effect on July 1

Joel Roos has been promoted to the role of east coast area manager at LIQUI MOLY as the international automotive chemical giant continues to build its Australian operations.

Roos has played a pivotal role with LIQUI MOLY since its inception in Australia in 2021 and has been a crucial part of the company’s reported 40 per cent year-on-year growth.

LIQUI MOLY was founded in the Germany city of Ulm in 1957, where it continues to be headquartered and has been part of the Würth Group since 2018.

Managing director of LIQUI MOLY Australia Vincent Prinzing says Roos’ appointment will allow the organisation’s Australian office to continue to strengthen its foothold in the market.

“Joel’s proven track record and deep understanding of the Australian automotive aftermarket make him the ideal candidate to lead our east coast sales team,” Prinzing says.

“This strategic move allows me to focus on further customer development initiatives, including product range expansion, service level improvements, brand exposure and optimising product availability across Australia.

“Joel’s commitment to maintaining at least 60 per cent field activity demonstrates his dedication to staying in touch with the market pulse.

“This will undoubtedly ensure his leadership decisions are tailored to the specific needs of our east coast workshops.”

LIQUI MOLY sells a range of roughly 4000 products in a market of over 150 countries worldwide.
