Linfox signs on as gold partner of Transport Women Australia Limited

Linfox and TWAL have formalised a partnership to enhance the logistic giant’s operations

Logistics giant Linfox says it is proud to join Transport Women Australia Limited (TWAL) as a Gold Partner to support its commitment to provide an inclusive, safe and diverse workplace where people can bring their whole selves to work.

“Women have traditionally been underrepresented in the transport and logistics industry, particularly in operational roles. We are committed to sustainable change through partnerships, education and training,” Linfox Australia and New Zealand CEO Mark Mazurek says.

“We are proud of the progress we have made, but recognise that we still have a long way to go before we achieve the diverse and inclusive workplace we aspire to.

“We continue to roll out unconscious bias and diversity and inclusion modules in our leadership training programs. We have also established reference groups and mentoring programs dedicated to influencing positive change.

“We are serious about improving our female participation rate through increased opportunities and training and we are taking real steps to effect sustainable change.”

Linfox will partner with TWAL to provide mentoring, host networking events and contribute to government relations and advocacy activities.

TWAL Chair Jacquelene Brotherton says TWAL is delighted to have Linfox onboard as a Gold Partner.

“We welcome the opportunity to strengthen the bond between our organisations and the benefits it will bring to both,” Brotherton says.

“Linfox has long supported increasing female participation in the transport industry.

“We look forward to the opportunity to strengthen our leadership support and the additional benefits this partnership will bring to our advocacy for industry diversity and inclusion.”
