Logistics giant Linfox has unveiled what it claims is an Australian first in its latest Volvo truck
Logistics and transport giant Linfox has announced it has received a new milestone for Australian trucking.
As reported by Prime Mover, Linfox says it has launched a first in the country for high productivity freight vehicles.
As part of the release, the Linfox Intermodal sector revealed the new A-double model recently following a year-long design and build process.

The Volvo A-double has since run its first trip between Melbourne and Sydney, with two 48-foot containers resulting in a length of 36 metres.
“The new configuration allows us to transport more palletised stock for our customers, providing us more opportunities and options to support our communities during unexpected road and rail outages,” Linfox says in an online statement.
