Linfox is continuing to grow as the logistics giant opens a new centre in Victoria
Transport and logistics giant Linfox has announced it has opened a new distribution centre in Tullamarine, Victoria, to expand its capacity.
The cross-functional distribution centre, as reported by Trailer, is part of Linfox’s investment to continue growing.
The 52,000-pallet site is aimed at increasing infrastructure and storage capacity for customers across a wide range of areas, including healthcare, pet care, grocery and beverages.
“The entire Linfox team should be very proud of this significant achievement – one that will create value for both our existing and future customers,” Linfox general manager of consumer and healthcare group Ash Patel says.
Linfox says the team moved into the site during the COVID-19 pandemic and set up a seamless operation for longstanding customer, Unilever.
Linfox team members from the Tullamarine site and across the business gathered recently to celebrate the DC expansion and investment.
