PN to provide 'rail freight-related services nationally across key corridors'
Lindsay Australia’s growing intermodal activity is bolstered by a new rail haulage agreement with Pacific National (PN).
Lindsay announced its subsidiary Lindsay Transport executed the contract with PN.
The deal “underpins the service requirements supporting Lindsay’s expanding rail freight business over the next five years”, the company told the ASX.
Under the deal, PN will provide rail freight-related services nationally across key corridors including between Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and into North Queensland destinations.

“The new agreement with PN solidifies and extend our strong relationship with PN, supporting the development and expansion of Lindsay’s rail freight business offering,” Lindsay managing director Kim Lindsay said.
PN chief commercial officer Andrew Thomson highlighted the partnership’s mutual benefit.
“Pacific National is very pleased to continue our relationship with Lindsay Australia as they continue their strong national growth trajectory of volumes on rail,” he said.
“Pacific National’s strategy is to continue growing intermodal rail capacity to support the growth of our customers and the modal shift from road to rail.”
