Lane and ramp closed at Port of Brisbane motorway

The Port of Brisbane main thoroughfare is being reduced to one lane due to important safety works

The National Road Transport Association (NatRoad) has confirmed that there are temporary lane and ramp closures in place along the Port of Brisbane Motorway.

Until August 11, temporary lane and ramp closures will result in a detour being in place between 8PM and 5AM on Sunday to Thursday as teams repair damaged sections of the safety barrier between Paringa Road and the Motorway.

This includes the temporary closure of the westbound entry ramp from Lytton Road to the Port of Brisbane Motorway, with vehicles entering from there needing to detour via the Lindum Road interchange.

Over the Motorway at the Paringa Road overpass, traffic is reduced to one lane, with oversized vehicles needing to phone site supervisors to arrange travel.

Failing to call both 24 hours before travel and one hour before arrival may result in delays to accessing the work site.
