The Department of Transport and Main Roads has announced it will reopen access to the Bruce Highway across the Seymour River at Gairloch, north of Ingham.
The reopened of the road has followed the receding of floodwaters at Gairloch and the Seymour River, which will allow heavy vehicles to travel in the area.
Northbound freight is already moving, with southbound freight set to open shortly.
Queensland Police Service is on site managing traffic. TMR is urging all motorists to follow all signage and directions from police.
No load restrictions are currently in place; however, delays are expected as traffic flow returns to normal.
Live traffic alerts, road closures and condition updates are available here.
