JD Logistics releases new services, outlines 2025 goals

Multiple key international goals have been outlined at the recent JINGDONG Logistics 2025 International Integrated Supply Chain Strategic Launch

JD Logistics has unveiled its overseas business development roadmap at the JINGDONG Logistics 2025 International Integrated Supply Chain Strategic Launch event in Shenzen, China.

Key to the company’s international strategy is accelerating the growth of its three networks – the global warehouse network, the express delivery network and the air freight network.

The accelerated growth plan will accompany JD Logistics’ well-publicised desire to dramatically increase its overseas warehouse presence in 2025 and integrate its ‘2-3-day delivery’ service circle to its global operations.

This service is already offered in multiple countries including Australia, the US, UK, France, Germany, Poland, Japan, South Korea and the UAE,

The increase of overseas warehousing capacity has seen the company set the goal of increasing its capability by 100 per cent in 2025 and accelerate the launch of new warehouses in Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas.

JD Logistics has also announced the launch of ‘simplified reverse returns service’ and ‘overseas warehouse bulky item delivery and installation service’.

Key to the return service will be the ability to process any returns within 72 hours and support the returns process from any ordering location with quality inspection for resale and disposal or destruction of damaged items.

The bulky item delivery and installation service will tackle common industry issues such as service separation, high damage rates and limited service resources and offers diverse solutions for varied large products.

These include doorstep delivery, integrated delivery and installation to be supported by multi-channel truck dispatch resources.
