JD Logistics extends express international reach

JINGDONG Logistics is now shipping express to 30 nations. It wants that number to rise to 80 by the end of 2024

JD Logistics (also known as JINGDONG Logistics) has expanded its APAC footprint by now offering express delivery services to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Brunei.

The company only launched its international express operations in late 2023, but it now services almost 30 countries and regions following September’s announcement it had expanded to South Korea and Japan.

That number is expected to soar to 80 nations and regions by the end of 2024 in order to keep up with the needs of its consumers and the increased demand of Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com.

JD Logistics is the logistics arm of JD.com, which employs over 300,000 in-house delivery personnel and operates over 1600 warehouses. 90 per cent of its orders are fulfilled within 24 hours.
