Iveco recalls dual control versions of Acco

Iveco recalls dual control versions of Acco rigid truck over concerns left-side accelerator can stick while driving

August 24, 2012

Iveco Australia is recalling dual control versions of the Acco rigid truck over concerns the left-side accelerator can stick while driving.

The recall affects the Euro 5-compliant models built between November 22, 2010 and July 16, 2012, fitted with a Continental accelerator pedal.

Iveco says the secondary spring on the left-side accelerator pedal return mechanism could be faulty.

It is asking owners of the affected trucks to return them to their nearest Iveco dealer to have the mechanism inspected.
