In major global news, Iveco has acquired the zero-emissions brand and made an immediate change
Major heavy vehicle brand Iveco Group has announced its acquisition of zero-emissions truck brand Nikola.
Under the acquisition finalised at the end of last month, Iveco will now acquire the full and sole ownership of the German-based Nikola resulting from the former joint venture of Nikola Iveco Europe.
The brand will now be renamed as EVCO (Electric Vehicles Company) under the acquisition.
Iveco says the successful completion of this announced step reconfirms the steady commitment Iveco is playing in gaining a leading role in the zero-emissions heavy duty transport segment.
