IVECO Ballarat becomes full line dealership

IVECO Ballarat’s parts and service provider has been upgraded to become a full-line dealership operating out of a $15 million facility
Ballarat IVECO's appointment as a full line dealership provides greater access to IVECO light, medium and heavy duty commercial vehicles for prospective buyers in the region.

IVECO’s presence in Victoria’s Central Highlands has been greatly improved through the transition of its Ballarat parts and service provider to a full line dealership.

The dealership operates out of a newly completed, state-of-the-art $15 million facility in Mitchell Park that spans 15,000 sqm and features an indoor showroom, parts warehouse and workshop that includes 15 truck bays, six light vehicle bays and a full-length ‘drive over’ B-Double pit.

The facility also features a fully equipped driver’s room with a bed, shower and toilet.

IVECO ANZ Managing Director Glen Dyer says the proven capability of the Ballarat parts and service provider made it an easy choice to expand its scope.

“Ballarat IVECO was already a proven performer when it came to the servicing and parts support of the IVECO range,” Dyer says.

“We’re delighted that their high level of professionalism and customer service has grown to include IVECO vehicle sales.

“We know existing and prospective IVECO owners are in great hands and will enjoy a productive and rewarding IVECO ownership experience.”

Ballarat IVECO Dealer Principal Ian Deacon has operated the region’s parts and service dealership for half a decade, and he says he’s excited for the improved customer experience the full line dealership will provide.

“I’m excited to be able to provide our customers with additional choice through the IVECO line-up. Interest and feedback since our appointment has already been excellent and we’ve had significant enquiry on Daily and S-Way in particular,” Deacon says.

“I’ve been really impressed with the IVECO range in recent years – the brand offers an excellent spread of models spanning from passenger car licence vans and light trucks through to B-Double capable prime movers, and there’s a real quality to the range as well.”

According to recently released T-Mark Data from the Truck Industry Council, IVECO is the sixth-highest selling truck brand in Australia across 2024.

As at the end of November it had sold 1715 trucks around the country. 1253 of those are classified as light-duty, where it is the fourth-leading truck seller.
