Isuzu trucks provide versatility for Pirtek

Pirtek says its Isuzu’s N Series and NPR trucks have proven to be the right fit for its fleet

As global fluid transfer solutions company Pirtek grows its reach in Australia, Isuzu says its near 100 trucks that it has provided them have helped them to do so.

Pirtek brand manager Brian Watson says the variety and versatility of Isuzu’s models on offer has become popular for the company.

“Our vehicles have to work in a wide range of conditions and locations, so we work with each franchise plus the engineering group at Isuzu to best cater for what is required out in the field,” Watson says.

“Pirtek has very high standards in terms of quality with our products and service, and that includes presentation.

“When a Pirtek technician arrives on site, the customer quickly appreciates the professional approach, including the way the service vehicles are presented and laid out.”

Each of Pirtek’s trucks has been integrated with a custom service body built by Queensland manufacturer Allwed Manufacturing to allow for large volume and weight of stock.

Dealer principal Darren Campi says its fleet of trucks at Pirtek’s Ballarat dealership, which includes Isuzu’s NPR 75-190, has been the right fit for its technicians.

“Industry in Ballarat and the areas that we service include manufacturing, forestry, construction, agriculture and civil works, so it is very diverse,” Campi says.

“The NPR is easy to drive, works well in tight places and the turning circle is a massive bonus in some of our trickier locations.

“The safety systems including dual airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners and Isuzu’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) all add up to ensure our team is safe while out on the road.”

Isuzu says key features of its NPR 75-190 has been its turbo diesel engine and its six-speed manual transmission that helps drivers stay in control in any environment.

Watson says the reliability of product and the backing of a trusted partner is among the key criteria to help support Pirtek’s transport fleet.

“Across the country we have more than 100 Isuzu trucks in operation that ensures we offer efficient servicing and can get our customers back in business quickly,” Watson says.

“Pirtek is delighted that Isuzu Trucks shares the same philosophy to putting the customer first.

“Through the extensive dealer network across Australia, we are able to ensure the wheels are kept turning to meet our customers’ needs.”
