Isuzu preparing for new range launch

IAL says it has invested strongly in its personnel, development systems and supply chains ahead of next year’s new model range launch

Isuzu Australia Limited says Australia’s truck market remains strong ahead of the highly anticipated launch of its all-new truck range in 2025.

The release of the new range will mark the first time in 15 years Isuzu has launched an all-new model range in Australia, with the company saying it has invested heavily in its personnel, product development systems and supply chain strategies to support the launch.

The Isuzu Trucks dealership network spans over 70 locations across Australia, with a new Mitchell Park facility and the redeveloped Campbellfield Westar Truck Centre helping deliver improved outcomes for Victorian customers.

Patterson Cheney Isuzu will also deliver a new site in Pakenham next year.

IAL Chief of Sales and Aftersales Ben Lasry says the strength of Isuzu’s dealership network in Australia indicates its confidence in the buoyant truck sales market.

“The resilience of the truck market has been encouraging as we look to close out the year,” Lasry says.

“Orders at the retail level have been very good, and the fleet sector is delivering strong results.

“The propensity for our dealers to expand and invest in the Isuzu brand strongly indicates the belief in our products and strategy moving forward.

“Our record of success is built on the simple premise of providing and supporting fit-for-purpose commercial vehicle capital equipment.

“As technology and the needs of our customers evolve, so too does our product and support offering, and we look forward to introducing our new model range next year.”

Isuzu’s Dealer Network is also moving from strength to strength, according to Lasry.

“Isuzu has recorded the take-up of service agreements rose by 36 per cent in 2023, exceeding our anticipated targets over a three-year period,” he says.

“This is paired with an average contract commitment of over four years.

“This all says our Dealer Network understand the need to form that relationship, trust and familiarity with a business’ operation and will work as partners in the supply and support of their commercial vehicle requirements.”
