Isuzu lists 2016 engine tour dates

Isuzu has detailed its engine display tour dates for a number of 2016 events

Isuzu Australia (IAL) has confirmed the company’s off-road engine range will be touring the country again in 2016, after gaining the eye of showgoers and field day attendees in 2015 with its focus on the irrigation and pumping sector.

“The Isuzu Engines team will be attending seven major field day events in 2016 as well as the preeminent Australasian Fire and Emergency Authorities Council Conference (AFAC), in a joint showing with Isuzu Trucks,” Isuzu industrial and marine engines manager Dean Whitford says.

“Last year was the first time that the IAL Engines department actively promoted its products, and it really was a ‘learning by doing’ exercise.

“In 2016, we’ve decided to target those events with the best audience for our product offering.”

The tour will start in South Australia on March 18 at the Lucindale-based South East Field Days event.

From South Australia it will head to AgFest in Tasmania in May, and then to Farmfest Field Days in Queensland in June.

In August, the Isuzu team will be attending the AgQuip Field Days in New South Wales and AFAC in Brisbane.

Rounding out the year will be the Henty Field Days in New South Wales in September, and the Elmore Field Days in Victoria and the Australian National Field Days in South Australia, both in October.

“Although we’re cutting down overall on the number of events we’re attending, we are increasing our presence at these select events,” Whitford says.

“With a custom built 10 x 10 metre marquee and stand featuring a range of products, Isuzu Engines will be hard to miss.

“As well as increasing its exhibition real estate, Isuzu Engines will also be increasing the number of products on display.

“We will be travelling with 10 completely assembled engines.”
