Frauenfelder new Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds CEO
Naomi Frauenfelder

Naomi Frauenfelder is the new CEO of industry mental health non-profit Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds (HHTS).

Frauenfelder brings extensive rail experience to the role and was most recently executive director at TrackSafe Foundation, an Australian rail industry not-for-profit that addresses suicide on the rail network and the resultant trauma caused to train drivers and other frontline staff.

"The HHTS board is delighted to welcome Naomi into this executive leadership role, and looks forward to working collaboratively with her as the foundation builds on its three key pillars; training, standards, and wellness," HHTS chair Paul Graham says.

"Naomi has a passion to unite industries behind mental health, providing individuals and organisations with the resources they need to face challenges head-on.

"Her skills and experience make her a great fit to lead HHTS to becoming the recognised peak body for mental health and wellbeing across the industry."

Frauenfelder will oversee early this year HHTS's launch of a three-year Industry Blueprint Strategy, national framework, guidelines and a Charter for Psychological Safety for road transport and logistics, in conjunction with AP Psychology & Consulting Services (APPCS).

Interim CEO Lachlan Benson will work alongside Frauenfelder until April to support the delivery of the industry-wide initiative.

"Along with the board, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Lachlan Benson for his dedication and spirited leadership as interim CEO of HHTS," Graham says.

"Lachlan has been on the journey to establishing the foundation for nearly two years and has been at the forefront of its key founding initiatives and achievements to date.

"We owe much to his efforts.

"Lachlan will now transition to the HHTS board as an independent director, where he will continue to give back to the sector that he has worked in for his entire career.

"We look forward to welcoming him onto the board and his continued involvement in helping to shape the future of the foundation."
