RFNSW counts MaxiTrans as its newest partner

State industry body and trailer-maker link in face of pandemic

Industry body Road Freight NSW (RFNSW) has gained a strong manufacturing ally during tough times for the economy.

“We are thrilled that MaxiTrans has come on board and joined RFNSW’s growing partnership base,” RFNSW chief executive Simon O’Hara says.

“MaxiTrans is highly-regarded within the transport industry for their expertise in delivering a wide range of locally-manufactured semi-trailer solutions.

“Given that MaxiTrans is supporting our members with their particular freight tasks, it’s a logical fit having them as part of our membership.

“RFNSW is proud to be partnering with an Australian company which is committed to local manufacturing and job-creation.

“Despite the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, MaxiTrans has increased production to meet the market demand for its popular semi-trailer brands and has recruited new staff and apprentices to support national growth, which is a real boost for the local economy during these challenging times.

“We congratulate MaxiTrans and look forward to working with them at RFNSW.”

MaxiTrans casts the move in a safety light.

“MaxiTrans is committed to providing our customers and the industry with safer, more efficient and reliable transport solutions.

“It is through our partnerships with key national and state bodies like RFNSW, that together we aim to be the driving force behind pushing for a safer road network for all road users.

“We know our industry is extremely resilient and hardworking, so it is important to continue to be the voice for our customers even during these challenging times, so that they can continue doing what they do best and delivering the needs of our nation.”
