BTS 19: Centramatic’s tyre life balance

Centramatic Australia markets a range of Australian-designed vibration/tyre wear reducing solutions for trucks, bus and trailers.

Consisting of automatic balance rings, which mount on to wheels to continuously balance the tyre/wheel assembly while you drive, they work by utilising centrifugal force and deflection to automatically distribute moveable weights (not mercury) precisely where needed to remove imbalance of wheel/brake rotating mass.

The result is dramatically improved tyre life, less cupping, and increased km/litre fuel, extended suspension life, and reduced driver fatigue and vibration.

Centramatic balanced wheels run cooler from less pounding, enlarged cooling fin heat dissipation, so continuously balancing all wheels on the vehicle while reducing road friction resistance and hence using less horsepower/fuel.

With two million users worldwide and proven over a period of 25 years on heavy vehicles travelling up to three million kilometres, they also have the highest capacity in the industry – estimated at approximately four times competitors.

Since 1977 the company has also manufactured ‘Truck Laser Line’ portable/workshop truck alignment equipment.

The 2019 Brisbane Truck Show will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from Thursday, May 16 to Sunday, May 19, 2019. To secure your ticket – and go into the draw to win a Toyota HiLux Rugged X – click here!
