Toll managing director Michael Byrne says Carlile’s appointment followed an extensive global candidate search, praising her wealth of expertise, commenting that her appointment would further strengthen the company’s legal and compliance function.

“Ms Carlile brings a focus on customers and a deep understanding of the legal and compliance issues that are critical for Toll’s diverse, global business which operates in more than 50 countries around the world,” Byrne says.

“Ms Carlile has already made a significant contribution throughout her time at Toll. Her strong values and leadership will continue be an important asset to the team.”
