Caltex signs on as RFNSW sponsor

Company offers end user pricing, help line and trial of new lubricants

Caltex Australia Petroleum has signed on as a sponsor of Road Freight NSW, offering trials of new high-grade lubricants to selected members.

A RFNSW spokesman told ATN that the group would be working with Caltex to determine which members would be best suited to the trial range, which will include grease, transmission fluid and diesel engine oil.

Caltex will also roll-out what it calls “end user pricing” on industry-leading lubricants for RFNSW members, as well as setting up a technical help phone line, an annual technical services seminar and additional training for RFNSW members under the scheme.

RFNSW general manager Simon O’Hara said members would be provided with technical support and ongoing advice on the products which will benefit their daily operations.

“With carriers continuing to face ever-increasing cost pressures, this support from Caltex will allow our members to choose top-quality lubricants that will assist them to improve motoring efficiencies and drive down their overall operating costs,” he says.
