Welsh steps up to CEO role at CILTA

Move comes a year after being appointed national manager

 

Karyn Welsh has been appointed as the new CEO of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Australia (CILTA).

Welsh has an extensive background in logistics and e-commerce having previously been CEO for Go-Freight and general manager of Australia Post’s corProcure division.

She also undertook the large national performance based standards (PBS) survey in 2014 for the Austroads project team before being appointed national manager for CILTA a year ago.

Welsh holds an MBA in e-commerce and served on the editorial board for the International Journal of eCommerce.
