Road Freight NSW partners with BP Australia

New deal includes fuel discount offer for truck operators

Road Freight NSW (RFNSW) has announced a new sponsorship agreement with BP Australia that will provide RFNSW members with significant fuel discounts.

Announcing the agreement in Sydney yesterday, RFNSW GM Simon O’Hara says the relationship with BP will deliver a range of benefits to its members, including:

• access to an extensive network of truck stops and key diesel sites strategically located throughout major transport routes in Australia

• improved discounts on BP Plus card for BP Diesel and ULP products

• during this month, the new arrangement will include a BP Plus Card offer to new RFNSW members whereby additional discounts will apply for the first seven months trading as well as no transaction fees for 12 months (subject to conditions)

• support to RFNSW through industry events, seminars and awards.

“We are delighted to be announcing this new agreement with BP which will prove to be a real value-add for our members,” O’Hara says.

“The price of fuel is a crucial component of a carrier’s everyday operations and this agreement will provide our members with significant savings at the pump and in bulk orders to better their bottom line.

“RFNSW is the voice for the local road transport industry in NSW and partnering with BP will enhance our objective of providing our growing membership with a range of benefits and support services.”

RFNSW recently announced plans to operate as an independent organisation starting January 1, 2018.
