Latest T&L guide to workplace safety out

The guide includes topics such as fatigue management, chain of responsibility and heavy vehicle roadworthiness

 

The latest edition of Transport and logistics industry guide to workplace safety 2016-17 includes augmented reality features, and covers a number of topics including fatigue management, loading and unloading flatbed trucks and trailers, chain of responsibility, and vehicle loading crane safety.

The guide highlights some of the hazards associated with the transport and logistics industry and includes suggestions to tackle such issues.

It also covers the issue of heavy vehicle roadworthiness, including information about the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR’s) Roadworthiness Program.

It is designed to deliver practical safety tips to help manage risks and avoid unnecessary illness and injuries to workers and visitors.
