Ontime joins transport sports backer ranks with Carlton deal

Transport and logistics firm waits until season’s eve to unveil sponsorship

National transport firm Ontime Group has become Carlton Football Club as coaches’ partner across the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Carlton CEO Steven Trigg says the partnership would allow Ontime Group to provide support for new head coach Brendon Bolton and his coaching panel.

“As a club, we are building on the foundations being set not only by Brendon Bolton and his coaching panel, but across the broader business and this is another positive step towards the start of our new journey,” Trigg says.

“We are thrilled to have signed Ontime Group ahead of the Round 1 opener … and we thank Terry and his executive team for their support.”

The Ontime logo will appear on the Carlton coaching panel’s official on-field apparel including polo shirts and training tops.

Ontime Group founder Terry Kernan says his company was looking forward to a mutually rewarding partnership.

“I am both excited and proud to sponsor Carlton’s coaching panel for the 2016 season and beyond,” Kernan adds.

“The Ontime Group’s business is about transporting and delivering successfully every day and we wish Brendon and his team, along with the players every success for the 2016 season.”
