Calfas joins Ports Australia board

Ports Australia says Calfas will help in key areas such as planning, environmental management and port governance

Ports Australia chairman Vincent Tremaine has announced the appointment of Marika Calfas to the Board of Ports Australia.

Tremaine says he and his fellow directors are pleased that Calfas had accepted the appointment.

“Marika has served the ports community in senior management positions for over 15 years and will bring a wealth of experience to the board table, particularly in the critical areas of planning and environmental management as well as port governance.”

Ports Australia CEO David Anderson joins Tremaine in welcoming Calfas.

“Marika is a highly accomplished port manager, who has been a strong contributor to the affairs of Ports Australia for a long period of time, and who will pro-actively assist to maintain and develop the strong standing of our organisation,” Anderson says.

Calfas is the current CEO of NSW Ports.
