The fleet of the once mighty trucking company have gone under the hammer
The assets of defunct trucking firm Heavy Haulage Australia (HHA) have gone to auction in Brisbane.
HHA went into administration in June and closed its doors one month later, with more than 70 people in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Pert and Port Hedland losing their jobs as a result.
All up, assets comprising 50 prime movers, 120 heavy haulage trailers, 15 cranes and 40 pilot and light commercial vehicles are being offered for sale.
The Brisbane auction featured near-new Western Stars, along with multiple Kenworth models, a Peterbilt, an Iveco Powerstar and a Scania 144.
A tilt tray, service trucks, heavy haulage and extendable trailers, dollys, cranes, excavators, vehicles and even numberplates went under the hammer.
