Search begins for new ATA CEO to replace retiring St Clair

Long-serving Australian Trucking Association CEO will retire in March next year.

Australia’s peak trucking lobby has started its search for a new CEO to replace Stuart St Clair when he steps down in early 2015.

St Clair will retire at the end of the ATA’s 2015 Trucking Australia event, which will be held in Hobart in March.

He has held the role of CEO since moving to the ATA in 2006 after a stint in federal politics as a Nationals MP for New England and then adviser to former deputy prime minister John Anderson.

The ATA has advertised for a replacement and says applications for the role will close on October 15.
