RSRT reminder that order start looms

First RSRO sets out minimum entitlements and requirements for drivers and others

 

The first Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal (RSRT) order comes into effect tomorrow.

The Road Safety Remuneration Order (RSRO) was developed last December in consultation with industry stakeholders.

Full details of the Road Transport and Distribution and Long Distance Operations Road Safety Remuneration Order 2014, along with a guide are available on the Tribunal’s website.

“The RSRO sets out minimum entitlements and requirements for certain road transport drivers and their employers or hirers, as well as participants in the supply chain,” the tribunal says.

The Tribunal will have the power to approve road transport collective agreements from tomorrow.
