Horse transport company receives strong interest from propective managing directors

 

Goldners Horse Transport is looking for a new Managing Director.

The New South Wales operator, which has depots in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, is seeking someone with a great understanding of the thoroughbred industry.

The successful person will lead a team of four managers based in Ingleburn.

Goldners, which was established in 1945, has 16 trucks and transports leading horse stables such as Bart Cummings, Mark Kavanagh and Darley.

The company prides itself on safe and reliable transport.

Along services for race days, it carries mares, foals and stallions to major studs across Australia.

The company has received a strong applicants’ response, it says.

“Whilst it’s challenging to find the right person with appropriate industry skills, the company has received a strong interest,” a company spokesman says.
