GraysOnline teams with Toll on parcels

Partnership another step in growth of e-commerce services by transport and logistics giant

August 22, 2013

Toll Group has joined forces with online retailer GraysOnline in a bid to grow its parcel delivery service.

Its partnership follows the launch of Toll’s parcel delivery service, Toll Consumer Delivery, last year.

Toll Managing Director Brian Kruger says offering the best customer delivery experience is crucial to stay ahead in the market.

GraysOnline will become a ‘preferred action partner’ for Toll and work starts next month.

“We will work with GraysOnline to improve further and we hope to announce some more exciting service improvements next year,” Kruger says.

GraysOnline CEO Cameron Poolman says Toll’s ability to service customers across its extensive national network was a major drawcard.

“Toll’s partnering approach, their innovative service offerings and their national network is second-to-none and we believe together we will be able to offer a great delivery experience to our customers,” Poolman says.

Toll has been providing an express service to individual consumers for nearly a decade and claims around 30 per cent of the country’s B2B express market.

It holds around seven percent of the total national online B2C market.
