Trailer manufacturer MaxiTrans has appointed Mario Colosimo as the general manager of its Freighter brand

Trailer manufacturer MaxiTrans has appointed former BPW Transpec executive Mario Colosimo as the general manager of its Freighter brand.
Colosimo will help develop MaxiTrans’s products and manage sales and distribution, MaxiTrans Managing Director Michael Brockhoff says.
The 2010 winner of the Don Watson Memorial Award for conspicuous service to the industry, Colosimo says he will spend his early days in his new role meeting Freighter’s customers and will continue the company’s involvement in regulatory development with industry associations and road authorities.
“He has a lifetime’s experience in the design, manufacture and sales of trailers and trailer components, most recently holding a senior management position with a leading component supplier,” Brockhoff says.
“Mario is highly regarded for his wealth of experience and will work closely with our customers, dealers and engineers to ensure that Freighter continues to deliver innovation, high payload and high resale value.”
