MaxiTrans Freighter General Manager Rod Cunningham has announced his resignation from the trailer maker company due to family reasons.

Cunningham, who has been in the role for seven years, says there has never been a dull moment during the time.

He joined Freighter in 2006 after broad experience within the trucking industry.

Cunningham has helped launch numerous of products at Freighter, including the Load Hold, EziLiner and Outback models, and has shared management responsibilities for the company’s national fleet sales division.

“There have been a number of highlights over seven years,” Cunningham says.

“From launching new models to last year giving away a motorcycle to a customer as part of a sales promotion, there has never been a dull moment.”

With no firm plans on his next destination, Cunningham says he will spend time with his family before exploring his options.

“I have a few ideas of things I might like to do. I might try a little of each and see what fits best.”
