Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia to hold function on May 30 to officially launch 2012 Queensland Supply Chain and Logistics Awards

The Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia’s (SCLAA) Queensland Division will hold a breakfast function on Wednesday, May 30 to officially launch the 2012 Queensland Supply Chain and Logistics Awards.
Now in their fifth year, the awards act as the State’s feeder program in to the Australian Supply Chain and Logistics Awards held later in the year.
Sponsored by the Department of Transport and Main Roads, Strategix Training Group and APICS, the awards are designed to recognise the people who make up the diverse supply chain, logistics and transport industries.
During the morning a group of past Queensland award winners will be on a panel discussing what they have gained from the award program personally and professionally. Panelists will include Rick Ralph, Executive Director, Waste Contractors Recycling Association of Queensland (WCRAQ); Louise Perram-Fisk, Director (Transform), Policy Governance, Rail Ports and Freight, Department of Transport and Main Roads; and Nikki Hasicevic, Sales and Customer Coordinator, Snap Fresh.
The launch event will be staged at the Queensland Cricketers Club and will feature keynote speaker Anthony MacLean, National Manager – Persuasion Skills, New Intelligence.
