Freestone's Transport CEO Paul Freestone is yet again the president of the Victorian Transport Association.

He was chosen to lead the VTA for the seventh year, VTA CEO Phil Lovel says.

He labelled Freestone a passionate operator with a keen knowledge of the industry.

"Paul is always willing to do anything to enhance the VTA’s industry role," he says.

"It doesn’t matter what the issue is Paul is always willing to go out and get involved on behalf of the association and our members.

"We like to listen to all opinions. Paul is an operator with his own money invested in his company – he is a risk taker and when he speaks we listen."

Lovel says the association has achieved its best financial result under Freestone’s leadership.

"We look forward to another successful year for the VTA with Paul Freestone as president," he says.
