A truck driver was impaled on a two-metre high fence in Melbourne last night.
Emergency crews were called to a truck depot at Spotswood around 6pm when the 31-year-old got stuck on the fence while attempting to jump it to find his lost keys. A spike went through his leg.
His workmates held him up until an ambulance arrived. Paramedics gave him pain relief while firemen cut through the spike.
The truck driver was taken to the Alfred Hospital with part of the spike still in his leg.
