TransLogix allies with US software firm Accellos

Focus of link is new 3PL cold chain system to be unveiled this week

Australian transport and logistics software firm TransLogix has linked with burgeoning US supply chain systems company Accellos.

The domestic company says the fruit of this union will be unveiled at this week’s Refrigerated Warehouse Transport Association conference in the form of its third-party logistics refrigerated warehousing and transport software system.

Bullish TransLogix Chief Executive Anselm Waterfield believes the link with Accellos will lead to significant advances in the Australian market, given its successes with leading firms in the US, Mexico and Africa, where it has deals with Halls Warehousing, Friasla and Commercial Cold Storage respectively.

"The Accellos next generation software, supported by our delivery expertise, will transform cold storage management in this market," the Waterfield says.

Solutions under the new partnership are now branded for the Australasian market as A1 for 3PL and OPAL WMS, "which will be offered depending on client requirements and the size of their operations", the partners say.
