Linfox is adding to its ranks of female drivers, employing five in its Thailand operations.
Operations Manager Kevin Lloyd says the women drive six and 10-wheel vehicles, including pick-ups for Linfox client Tesco Express.
One of the women has worked for Linfox for 10 years.
“I am hopeful that more women join our drivers’ ranks in the near future,” Lloyd says.
The company says it currently employs 20 female drivers in Australia in what is a largely male-dominated occupation.
