Detectives in Queensland are turning to the public to help catch a thief who stole a Kenworth prime mover in July this year.
The 2003 T404 model truck was taken between July 16 and 18 from Evans Road at Salisbury, about 20 minutes south of Brisbane’s CBD.
A statement from police says the vehicle’s registration at the time was 218 ICZ and it was towing a trailer.
"The prime mover was towing a green, 2005 model 45-foot Maxitrans tautliner trailer, with Queensland registration 940 QPP," the statement says.
The trailer had an orange Toyota forklift onboard, which police say has not been recovered.
"Police are urging anyone with information relating to the theft to contact the Queensland Police Heavy Vehicle Investigation Team in Brisbane on [07] 33644107," the statement says.
