July 6, 2010

Police were forced to close down a section of the New England Highway near the NSW and Queensland border after a truck trailer rolled early today.

The incident happened about 4:10am at Rosenthal Heights near Warwick when the dog trailer being towed rolled.

The 32-year-old male driver was uninjured, but trailer’s contents of Canola Meal spilled across the northbound lanes of the road.

“Police closed a section of the highway for several hours for investigation and clean up with the road reopening around 10am,” a police statement says.
