Tell us your thoughts, ATA asks operators

Operators urged to take part in survey to identify issues facing the trucking industry

March 1, 2010

Trucking operators are being asked to list their concerns in a new online survey aimed at highlighting issues facing the industry.

The survey has been launched by the Australian Trucking Association (ATA), which says it will ensure “everyone in the industry can have a say”.

The 15-question survey asks operators about regulatory and tax concerns, road safety, skills shortages, vehicle maintenance and capital expenditure.

“The ATA will use the survey to help guide its strategic planning and in its discussions with the Australian government,” the ATA says.

Results will be announced during this year’s Australian Trucking Convention in April.
