Industry veteran Paul Freestone re-elected as the president of the Victorian Transport Association

February 10, 2010

Paul Freestone will lead the Victorian Transport Association (VTA) for the fifth consecutive year as its president.

The industry veteran was re-elected as president, with VTA Chief Executive Philip Lovel saying Freestone remains a popular figure among Victoria's transport operators.

"We look forward to another successful year for the VTA with Paul Freestone as President. 2010 has plenty in store for the association and the industry and we are already working on some fantastic projects," Lovel says.

He says Freestone begins his new term leading an organisation in its best financial position in its 110 year history.
