Some of the transport and logistics’ most influential people will headline this year’s annual Australian Logistics Council (ALC) forum in Sydney.

Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Anthony Albanese has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for the event, which will be held on March 3.

With the event billed as one of the year’s biggest gatherings of senior industry leaders, the ALC has also confirmed trucking icon Lindsay Fox will deliver an address to attendees.

ALC CEO Michael Kilgariff says the event is built around delivering a seamless supply chain and will focus on infrastructure and regulatory issues to improve efficiency.

Delegates will also receive an update on industry reforms during a speech from the Chairman of the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Reform Council, Paul McClintock.

There will also be speakers from the industry’s biggest player, Toll, and Woolworths’ logistics manager, Geoff Thomas.

Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) Chairman Graeme Samuel will also speak on competition policy and the supply chain, while National Transport Commission (NTC) Chief Executive Nick Dimopoulos will outline the group’s vision for the transport industry.
