Police are appealing for public assistance following a fatal collision between a bike rider and a truck in Sydney’s west.
The incident occurred at Silverwater about midday on January 18 at the intersection of Carnarvon and Churchill streets.
The cyclist, believed to be a man aged in his 50s, died at the scene.
The 64-year-old truck driver underwent mandatory drug and alcohol testing at Auburn Hospital and made a statement to police.
Police officers are still investigating what caused the collision and have urged witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
