Linfox recognised as logistics provider of the year by Mars Petcare for services to the food manufacturer

Linfox has been recognised as the logistics provider of the year by Mars Petcare for its services to the food manufacturer.
The recognition comes 14 months after the operator signed a deal to distribute pet food from Mars Petcare’s Wodonga facilities to Australia and other Asia Pacific countries.
“Linfox have [sic] provided an integrated service focus whilst implementing a continuous improvement culture,” a statement from Mars Petcare says.
“They [sic] have been able to deliver significant increases in the levels of customer service, continue to develop the site to maximise operational efficiency, and deliver cost benefits via improved productivity.”
Linfox capped off 2009 by also winning the best in show and the logistic leader awards at the 2009 Mercury awards.
The awards were given in recognition o the operator’s work for supermarket giant Coles.
