CEVA renews logistics partnership with HP

CEVA to continue logistics task for Hewlett Packard in contract renewal announced today

CEVA will continue managing inventory for computer giant Hewlett Packard in a contract renewal announced today.

The global logistics company has renewed its contrat for vendor-managed inventory services at its Rydalmere hub in Sydney.

CEVA has been working with HP in Australia since 2001.

Under the renewed contract, CEVA will continue to provide pick and pack, kitting and dispatch services, as well as inventory control of goods received from over 40 global suppliers for local server assembly lines.

CEVA Australia Managing Director Howard Critchley says the deal builds and strenthens the relationship.

“It’s particularly pleasing that our past efforts, understanding of HP’s supply chain needs combined with our ability to stay alert and respond to the issues affecting their business on a daily basis, have been recognised,” he says.

“Importantly, our outstanding management of supplier relationships, to ensure compliance with HP production specifications, was a key consideration behind the decision to extend our contract.”
