More Asian parcels for Toll

Toll continues Asian expansion, purchasing three international express businesses in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia

Toll Holdings continues its Asian spending spree, with the announcement the company has purchased three international express businesses in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.

The largest purchase is the Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia operations of Deltec, which offers international express and local point to point courier and international and domestic mail.

The smaller Hong Kong companies Kwikmail and Skynet will join Deltec in the Toll Priority brand, which Toll Managing Director Paul Little says is expanding its Asian-based express courier business.

"With annual consolidated revenue of around $12 million, these acquisitions in the strategically important hubs of Hong Kong and Singapore provide a key platform in Toll’s ongoing growth and development in the region," Little says.

"Hong Kong is the busiest cargo airport in the world and Singapore is the eighth busiest and the busiest in South East Asia so boosting Toll’s presence in these markets is an important advantage for our customers."
