Linfox to open new $20 million head office in Melbourne, a building that will set new environment standards

Linfox will open its new $20 million head office in Melbourne today, a building that will set new standards in environmental management.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Victorian Premier John Brumby are due to tour the facility at Essendon Fields and cut the ribbon at 3pm AEST.

The building has a five-star energy rating, part of Linfox’s overall strategy to cut carbon emissions 15 percent by 2010.

The Melbourne-based, family-owned logistics provider spans more than 250 sites across 11 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
